I was out searching a field where an old homesite used to be with my manticore. I got a great signal and dug up this 1737 King George II half penny, then I got one of those “too good to be true signals” flipped open my plug, had to dig down a little deeper, took another scoop and out came this 1895 Barber Half Dollar. I also found a few wheat cents and a 1900 Indian head cent and an old button on this hunt. I was stoked to find these because this spot has had its fair share of people searching it. This is my 3’rd half dollar with the manticore and 83’rd silver coin with the manticore so far this year.
