Bio
My name is Vaggelis Nyfantis
Originally from Greece, born in 1982
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and studied Electronics.
My interest in treasure hunting began at a very young age, born in Ioannina, Greece, with a lot of history and legends was also a stimulus to start detecting treasures.
Minelab E-Trac was the reason for finding my first small Ottoman treasure.
Continuing in the field of detection with endless hours of research in difficult mountainous locations brought to light many beautiful findings.
Searching for Ottoman treasures due to my town’s history and civil war treasures at great depth, the Minelab GPX series was and is a detector that with large Commander coils responds to the most difficult soils and at great depth.
On my vacations, finding lost objects on the beaches is wonderful using my detectors such as, Equinox 900, Manticore and CTX3030.
The knowledge and experience are something that I share with young people in the field of detection who want help, by giving them private lessons in the use of the detector and research.
Finally, in this beautiful world of detection, my dream has come true by opening a store with Minelab Metal Detectors in 2023 in the city of Ioannina.
